Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. Engineering in CSE/CS/EEE/Telecom or equivalent from any recognized and reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage different servers mainly in the Linux platform (Apache, DNS, DHCP, NFS, Monitoring, NTP, KVM, and others)
∎ Configure Linux virtualization (KVM) and ESXi to deploy and manage virtual machines.
∎ Configure SAN storage connection with virtualization cluster.
∎ Server data backup management.
∎ Configure and maintain all networking devices, including security, disaster recovery, and standards.
∎ Performing Router & Firewall configuration (Cisco, Mikrotik, NGFW).
∎ Implement switching architecture (Ethernet, Stacking, Trunking Protocols, LACP, MSTP, VLAN).
∎ Configure & maintain VPN server for staff and students.
∎ Install and support WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
∎ Managing internetwork communication and total campus wireless system.
∎ Monitoring networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
∎ Performing network design (Highly Desirable).
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 04 years of proven working experience in the IT sector, preferably in the university sector.
∎ Proven working experience in the IT sector, preferably in the university sector.
∎ Must have knowledge of server virtualization.
∎ Should have knowledge of databases.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Network Engineering / Network Administration.
∎ The applicant must be CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certified with proven working experience in the related area.
∎ The applicant must have Red-Hat certification/course completion with proven working experience.
∎ The applicant having data center installation experience will get an added advantage.
∎ In-depth knowledge and extensive working experience in Routing/Switching.
∎ Must be proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Good interpersonal-communication skills to deal with people at all levels.
∎ Good knowledge of VPN, Firewall & Cyber Security.
∎ In-depth knowledge of LAN, MAN & WAN.
∎ Complete knowledge of different OS versions: Windows, Linux, Mac OS.
∎ Flexible to learn on the job and mentor a broader team.
∎ Age Limit: Age: 30-35 years; Age limit may be relaxed for highly experienced and competent candidates.
Salary:
∎ Salary Scale: 22,400-2,000x15-52,400 + other allowances + Technical Allowance equal to 4 yearly increments. Initial Gross Pay = Tk.49,440.00.
Other Allowances mean 65% House Rent + 10% Conveyance + 10% Medical Allowance
Higher initial pay may be offered to highly experienced and competent candidates.
