• MBA in Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field from any public/private universities with good academic record.

• Candidates having specialized Professional Certification and hands on desk experience on Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

• Minimum 5-6 years experience in foreign procurement.
• Should have knowledge about foreign exchange guideline volume-1 & 2, UCP-600, Inco- Term 2024 and import & Export policy 2021-2024.
• Should have knowledge to procure specialized goods (Seeds, Lubricants etc.) and collect import permission from related Govt. Authority.
• To analysis HS code for importing new goods.
• Should have knowledge about cross boarder logistics, Trade finance, Letter of crediting load.
• Should have knowledge in LCM for import items and to operate Landed cost through oracle EBS.

The Foreign Procurement and Commercial Professional, responsible for procurement of goods and services from international principals/suppliers mostly from India and China. The role involves negotiating with the internal external stake holders, obtaining requisition/ indents from business divisions, compile the requisition company wise, brand wise , cycle wise, and taking steps for opening required number of L/C (s) in consultation with the respective Business and Divisions /Accounts Divisions and arrange timely release of the goods and services from the port. The position demands strong commercial experience, understanding of international trade regulations and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• To organize, run and manage the entire procurement cycle including planning, budgeting and releasing the goods and services ensuring due diligence in compliance with import polices, rules and regulations for the companies under the Group.
• To keep constant touch with Business Divisions and obtain Brand wise, quantity wise requisitions for import of Tractors/accessories/Spare Parts etc.  
• To make lists of the goods and make-out fund requirement, disseminate the same with Finance & Accounts Division for earmarking the fund requirement for ultimate release of the shipping documents/Receipts. 
• To keep constant contact with the Banks for opening L/C (s) and releasing the same.  
• To keep close contacts with the respective Banks/Port authorities for opening L/C (s), shipment, release documents, release goods through C&F agents and storage of the goods in the Company’s warehouse/sheds in close liaison with the stake holders ensuring zero port demurrage.
• To devise, develop and implement procurement plans/ budgets in compliance with company’s needs within budget constraints.
• To provide reporting and reconciliation of inventories and evolve strategies to find cost-effectiveness with a high-performing procurement function & ensuring high level of risk management.  
• To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
