Job Summary

The Manager will be responsible for overall implementation, supervision, and monitoring within a teamwork framework. The position requires coordination with all stakeholders at Upazila and Union levels for smooth functioning of hospital and DALIT’s health related project activities, dealing with beneficiaries, building relationships with stakeholders including doctors and consultants.

The primary scope of work includes supervising day-to-day operations of the hospital, with particular responsibility for community-level communication, mobilization, and awareness building among different stakeholders (related service providers, community leaders, local authorities, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Services Management

• Monitor timely delivery of all test reports including pathology, USG, ECG, X-ray, and plaster services to patients

• Ensure proper placement and daily monitoring of diagnostic ingredients and agents

• Monitor pathology, USG, ECG, X-ray, and plaster registers to ensure daily updates and resolve errors immediately

• Verify that targeted numbers of patients and pathological tests are being met daily and take corrective action as needed

Clinical Operations

• Monitor doctors' daily patient counseling and ensure adequate number of tests are prescribed

• Observe prescription practices to ensure medicines are prescribed from the hospital's listed companies

• Maintain regular communication, coordination, and management with full-time and part-time doctors and physicians

Pharmacy Management

• Conduct daily pharmacy checks to identify stock shortages and excess inventory

• Coordinate with doctors to arrange urgent sales of excess stock

• Verify pharmacy accounts are up to date and correct errors promptly

Specialized Units Oversight

• Monitor Vision Centre, Dental unit, and Yoga centre to ensure daily patient targets are met

• Monitor the Ophthalmic Assistant's regular consultation with BNSB doctors

• Ensure patients at Vision Centre, Dental unit, and Yoga centre receive proper medical care

• Monitor registers of these units to ensure daily updates and take corrective action

• Monitor the Dental unit doctor's effectiveness in patient treatment

Community Outreach and Patient Growth

• Work at field level with rural doctors, kabiraj, schools, colleges, and sponsorship programs to increase patient numbers

• Spend at least 50% of total monthly time working in the field to increase hospital patient numbers

• Adopt different methods and strategies for patient growth in competitive market conditions

Administrative and Financial Management

• Daily signing and updating of all documents including bills, vouchers, and registers

• Ensure daily hospital earnings are deposited in the bank and matched with cash book balance to maintain zero cash in hand

• Ensure all accounting department activities are completed properly and on time

• Regularly update all hospital licenses

• Apply to specified departments one to two months before license expiration

Planning and Coordination

• Prepare monthly and annual plans and implement them appropriately

• Identify causes of plan failures and find immediate solutions, reporting to authorities verbally or in writing

• Coordinate with the Executive Director/ designated personnel for organizing different activities

• Promptly report any problems to the Executive Director/ designated personnel for quick solutions

• Coordinate, direct, and give orders in all hospital activities

Team Leadership

• Encourage all team members to use different strategies to improve performance

• Work effectively in challenging environments with mental strength and problem-solving ability

• Demonstrate tactfulness in identifying problems, solving them, and making decisions

• Perform any other related job assigned by the authority from time to time



Job Other Benifits:
