Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or a related social science field.
Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in GBV program implementation, with at least 1–2 years in direct GBV case management supervision in humanitarian settings.
Hands-on experience working with GBVIMS / VAWGIMS (data entry, classification, analysis, and data protection protocols) is mandatory.
Direct work experience within the Rohingya Refugee Response in Cox's Bazar is highly preferred.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Deep understanding of survivor-centered approaches, GBV core concepts, psychological first aid (PFA), and caring for child survivors protocols.
Demonstrated commitment to gender equality, disability inclusion, and the rights of gender-diverse individuals.
Ability to provide compassionate, constructive supervisory support and manage vicarious trauma/burnout among field teams.
Interpersonal & Language Skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and Bengali is required.
Proficiency in the Chittagonian or Rohingya dialect is a distinct advantage.

Project Title: Protection-Centred and Locally Driven Response for Rohingya Refugees in Cox’s Bazar
Job Context: Nari Maitree (NM), a well-established women-led NGO with 43 years of experience in Bangladesh, dedicated to empowering women, children, and marginalized communities through human rights, gender equality, disaster resilience, and health initiatives. As a key consortium partner of IRC in the DFAT-funded program "Protection-Centred and Locally Driven Response for Rohingya Refugees in Cox’s Bazar," Nari Maitree leads the consortium's thematic technical domain on GBV Prevention & Response, Gender Equality, and Gender-Inclusive GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion).
Duty Station: Ukhiya, CoxsBazar, Bangladesh (with frequent field visits to Rohingya camps and host communities)

Position Summary: The Case Management Supervisor will oversee the quality, safety, and survivor-centered delivery of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) case management services in designated Rohingya camps and host communities. The incumbent will provide direct technical guidance to Case Workers, ensure compliance with international GBV standards and survivor-centered approaches, and manage data entry, security, and trend analysis using the Violence Against Women and Girls Information Management System (VAWGIMS) / GBVIMS. This role actively embeds Nari Maitree’s leadership in gender diversity and intersectionality by ensuring case management services are accessible, safe, and inclusive for all women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Technical Supervision & Case Management Quality Assurance
Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of GBV Case Workers to ensure case management aligns with survivor-centered principles, Inter-Agency Case Management Guideline, and IRC-harmonized protection standards.
Review case files and documentation using GBV Incident Tracker regularly to assess the quality, completeness, and timeliness of case management interventions, and provide constructive feedback to Case Workers for improvement.
Provide technical guidance to Case Workers on risk assessment, safety planning, prioritization of cases, and appropriate decision-making for cases involving heightened protection risks or complex needs.
Conduct regular case reviews, case conferences, and one-on-one supervision sessions to address complex cases, ensuring proper assessment, safety planning, and referral based on the survivor's informed consent .
Provide structured supervision to Case Workers using prescribed Case Management supervision tools and identify capacity-building needs to develop and implement appropriate learning and capacity-building plans through the supervision process.Document key supervision findings, agreed actions, and follow-up points using prescribed supervision tools and ensure that identified actions are followed through within agreed timelines.
Ensure appropriate and timely case closure in line with the Inter-Agency Case Management Guideline and oversee Client Satisfaction Surveys for closed cases, using findings to improve the quality and survivor-centeredness of Case Management services.
Lead and guide the implementation of the Women Rise Structured PSS curriculum, ensuring proper pre-screening, feedback and fidelity to improve implementation quality, and facilitation of FGDs using the prescribed Women Rise tools.
Lead and support safety audits conducted by IRC as a representative of Nari Maitree, ensuring quality data collection through FGDs and KIIs across Nari Maitree-implemented locations.
Guarantee that services are fully inclusive and safe for vulnerable populations, including adolescent girls, women with disabilities (in coordination with CDD), and gender-diverse individuals.
Information Management & GBVIMS Oversight
Oversee the safe, confidential, and ethical collection, storage, and management of GBV case data using GBVIMS.
Analyze monthly case management data to identify trends, gaps in referral pathways, and emerging protection risks without compromising client confidentiality.
Prepare and submit monthly Case Management, Unstructured PSS, Case Closure, and Client Satisfaction reports within established deadlines, ensuring the accuracy and validation of reported data.
Ensure proper implementation of Women Rise MEAL tools and timely submission of data through the CommCare platform. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual disaggregated case management statistics and qualitative insights for consortium reporting and technical review within the GEDSI CoP.
Sector Coordination & Referral Pathways
Map and regularly update functional, multi-sectoral referral pathways (health, legal, MHPSS, safe shelter, WASH, and food security) in assigned operational areas.
Represent Nari Maitree at camp-level GBV Sub-Sector working groups, case management coordination meetings, and discussions with Camp-in-Charge (CiC) officials and Site Management.
Represent Nari Maitree in the GBV Sub-Sector, GBV Case Management Working Group, GBVIMS Task Team, and other relevant sector-level coordination and technical working groups.Coordinate closely with consortium partners (IRC for health/protection, CDD for disability inclusion, BTS for child protection) to streamline multi-disciplinary support for survivors.
Community Mobilization & Safe Spaces Management
Oversee the operational quality and safety of Nari Maitree’s Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) or community response points.
Support community-level awareness and prevention activities, ensuring community engagement initiatives link survivors safely to confidential support services.
Establish, facilitate, and provide technical guidance to adolescent steering committees and community-based groups to strengthen meaningful participation, leadership, and community ownership.
Facilitate coordination between WGSS, adolescent steering committees, community-based groups, and relevant service providers to strengthen safe referral pathways and community-level support.
Safeguarding, PSEAH & Ethics
Strict enforcement of zero-tolerance policies regarding Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH), Child Safeguarding, and data breaches.
Ensure all case management staff strictly adhere to ethical guidelines, informed consent protocols, and client confidentiality.
Assignment Duration: Tentative 27 months
Consolidated Tk. 55,000/- (BDT) per month and other admissible benefits as per organization rules. (Inclusive of all applicable taxes as per the law of Bangladesh)
