  • Strong networking and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking, collaboration, creativity, and results orientation.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in research partnerships and grant management.

Job Purpose: The role is responsible for leading knowledge management, research partnerships, and strategic knowledge dissemination for the Microfinance Programme by translating research and field insights into high-quality knowledge products, publications, and external engagements. The role strengthens collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, promotes knowledge sharing and organisational learning, and enhances BRAC Microfinance’s contribution and visibility in the global financial inclusion dialogue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the knowledge management strategy and framework, including knowledge-sharing policies, protocols, and initiatives.

  • Lead the development and piloting of knowledge management tools and generate knowledge ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams and units within Microfinance.

  • Lead the development of knowledge products such as case studies, success stories, and learning briefs through Focus group discussions, In-depth interviews, key informant interviews and other appropriate methods.

  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with research partners and external stakeholders

  • Translate research findings into high-quality knowledge products, including articles, briefs, case studies, and other communication outputs.

  • Lead partnership engagement and coordination with research partners, stakeholders, and donor partners to facilitate effective implementation of research projects and deliver agreed outcomes.

  • Lead publication planning and dissemination by coordinating with publication partners, developing publication plans, and ensuring timely delivery of research reports and knowledge outputs.

  • Provide editorial lead in publications and strategize content for external global forums

  • Promote BRAC’s involvement in the global dialogue by strategizing knowledge and content for international events and forums to enhance exposure of BRAC Microfinance activities in the broader Financial Inclusion community.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
