∎ At least one year experience in a similar position, coordinating and supervising health camp and dealing with local authorities/community leaders and NGO experience will be preferable;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
∎ High team work spirit and excellent analytical skills;
∎ Good physique, energetic and ability to work in a remote areas;
∎ Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, Power Point), and internet browsing;
∎ Written and spoken skills in Bangla and English are required;
∎ Valid driving license (ability to drive a motorcycle);
∎ Residential location should be at Chuknagar under Dumuria Upazila, Khulna;
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage the workload effectively with cordially; Previous experience will be highly appreciated work with Dalit/marginalized communities.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensuring standard medical check-up as per BMA standard.
∎ Providing quality medical service to patients through OPD service, medical camp and satellite clinic.
∎ Susceptible disease identification, treatment and follow up.
∎ Conduct issues based health education session/day observation and campaign.
∎ Providing reproductive health care supports (ANC/PNC, education and counseling to mother and adolescent)
∎ Periodic planning and designing disease control/prevention activities considering disease prevalence and burden.
∎ Providing training to village doctors, TBA (midwife) and Community Health Workers (CHW) with necessary skills and knowledge for promoting treatment procedure.
∎ Scheduled field visits are required;
∎ Performing any other related job assigned by the authority from time to time;
∎ Maintaining all relevant registers for patient management.
∎ Developing strategies for increasing patient flows with new innovative treatment ways. Monthly / quarterly report writing and contribute to prepare annual plan of the health services of Dalit Hospital.
∎ Job summary:
∎ Dalit Hospital is seeking for an energetic & young allopathic professional for ensuring general health services and treatment among the people of the working areas. Also should have act as a core team member for development of hospital. Should have contributed to establishing a strong network among the patients. The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing counseling and treatment services to the patients. The position will be based at Dalit Hospital and have to cooperate with related field level activities like free medical camp, satellite clinic, and health awareness program.
