∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): ACCORD/ALLIANCE/RSC, NIRAPON, SLCP, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, CTPAT, EPZ law, BLL-2006, BNBC-2020, NFPA standards, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, ICS,VF asia and All other Brand audit Technical audit and European & USA buyers' compliance requirements.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for ensuring the applicable statutory & legal requirements as per BEPZA & local government law.
∎ Obtain and institute compliance standards and carry out regular assessment and gap analysis for individual buyer's compliance requirements.
∎ Formulate standard compliance manual(s) for the factories and update on an on-going basis. Ensure implementation of the compliance activities as per law & customers’ requirements & company standards as well.
∎ Lead and coordinate to monitor compliance issues all over the factory on legal permits, child labor, forced labor, harassment, working hours, wages & benefits, maternity, health & safety, environment, security etc. and taking corrective actions, as required.
∎ Updating of compliance reports, buyer portals time to time & keep update as required.
∎ Carry out regular compliance audit in all the production locations and put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation and provide reports therefore to the Unit heads & directors.
∎ Ensuring & Provide compliance training like COC, PPE, Fire Safety, First Aid and Health Safety, building maintenance to all concerns & train the workforces.
∎ Strive to achieve continuous improvement and adhere to the best practices of the world class apparels industries as regards to compliance.
∎ Prepare and update the assessment of labor laws requirement from the compliance point of view.
∎ Maintain environmental sustainability by required activities & work procedures Responsible to drive welfare team for the smooth continuation of their regular activities, maintain effective working relationships with all staff of the company.
∎ Implement Code of Conduct Provided by the different renowned buyers.
∎ Conduct regular internal audits and share reports with the management.
∎ Prepare third-party or buyer audit CAP reports independently and follow up on audits day-to-day.
∎ Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions and take all possible measures to adhere to buyers' compliance instruction.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset timeframe. Excellent in inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Coordinate when Buyer Representatives or Auditors visit the factory. Monitor factory security, safety issues to keep the premises safe & secured.
∎ Maintain environmental sustainability for the organization throughout all the activities & work procedures.
∎ Full fill the requirements of ISO, 5S as well.
∎ The candidate should have extensive experience working with Higgs, ISO, SCAN, SBTI, Nirapon, RSC, SLCP, WRAP, BSCI, Traceability, GTW, CFW, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RCS, OCS, Better Works, and other relevant industry standards.
∎ The candidate should have strong capability in mailing correspondence, writing CAP’s, memos, dealing with the buyers and Auditors.
∎ Have to prepare and update the assessment of Labor law requirements from a Compliance point of view.
∎ Have to be capable of handling Disciplinary & Grievance issues, will address employee relation issues, especially grievances and disciplinary procedures as per law.
∎ Ability to organize training/awareness regularly.
∎ Should be capable of training personnel on Fire Fighting, Safety, Chemical training and the use of Personal Protective Equipment on health & safety issues.
∎ Ensure social aspects-working conditions, labor standards & human rights.
∎ Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
∎ Monitor & ensure strict compliance of all HR and Admin related policies and procedures.
∎ Maintain all legal licenses and valid documents as per factory rule.
∎ Ensure all policies are complied with Labor Laws and Company Rules & Regulations.
∎ Ensure our factory employees comply with the necessary health, hygiene & Environmental safety regulations and practices.
∎ Look after Industrial and Employee Relation affairs, including staff discipline, grievances and other related activities.
∎ Promote and ensure adherence to environmental regulations, waste management, and sustainable initiative.
∎ Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues·
∎ Manage daily Compliance and HR operations.
∎ Manage disciplinary process as per labor law, grievance procedure and resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
∎ Well known about labor law, ILO and EPZ law.
∎ Expert in Bangla typing and format preparation.
