UTAH Spinning Mills Ltd., a renowned 100% export oriented Knit Composite Company of the Country is looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly potential professionals as General Manager - Production for Textile Division located at Gazipur.
Key Responsibilities:·
Lead and manage overall textile production operations across knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment processes.
Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and SOPs for efficiency and quality.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Supervise knitting operations to ensure fabric quality, machine efficiency, and minimal downtime.
Oversee dyeing processes, ensuring color accuracy, shade consistency, and chemical cost control.
Maintain strict compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and audits.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, safety, and sustainability.
Implement cost control measures to reduce wastage and improve profitability.
Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
Ensure preventive maintenance of knitting and dyeing machinery to avoid production delays.
Introduce modern production systems such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and performance analysis to senior management.
Identify training needs and develop skill-building programs for knitting and dyeing staff.
Lead problem-solving initiatives for production bottlenecks and technical issues.
Benchmark industry best practices and introduce innovative solutions in knitting and dyeing.
Support R&D in developing new fabrics, shades, and eco-friendly dyeing processes.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
