Job Context:
∎ Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla - EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit).
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
∎ Reporting Authority: Manager Stores.
∎ Work Hours
∎ 8-hour work shift
∎ 8:00 am-5:00 pm and as per company policy
∎ Saturday to Thursdays
∎ Minimal amount of being "on-call
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepared chemical inventory as per Buyer requirement, collect support document for buyer compliance.
∎ Facing the chemical related Audit such as SCM- Audit (C&A), RTM - Audit (Inditex) etc
∎ Collect Chemical test report (Aryl amines, Formaldehyde, APEO etc) from 03rd party as per buyer's requirement.
∎ Check buyers compliance is fulfilled which is related to chemical use.
∎ Sourcing new chemical for new development for new fashion, process innovation and reduce environment impacts.
∎ Sourcing upstream suppliers and screen them for environmental compliance.
∎ Follow-up of new chemical development or trial and give report to senior management /developing new suppliers of Chemicals.
∎ Prepare Budget based on monthly wash load plan.
∎ During Production if any chemical related problem arise them workout a substitute chemical and suggest to production people.
∎ Check the balance list of Chemicals of last day (Stock Report) from Data Entry operator to check whether the chemicals required for today's running style in available of any new items needed to be requisitioned.
∎ Check the last received chemicals is received as per requirement and see if the MRIR report is properly prepared against these chemicals and also check quality of the chemicals from internal lab test report.
∎ Follow-up if the chemical issuing process from store to washing floor is as per recipe.
∎ Prepare Monthly Chemical Consumption Report.
∎ Follow-up all wash recipe R&D to bulk process, where chemical is using in proper way as per TDS.
∎ Maintain stock of General Items and check MRIR is properly entered in system as per physical goods received. E.g. production consumables.
∎ Responsible to ensure that documentation of incoming stocks are properly
∎ Job work transactions(Sending and taking receipt of job work material)
