∎ Graduate/ Post Graduate from recognized university in any discipline.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification/ Professional Supply Chain courses from any reputed authorities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, organize, direct, and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
∎ Monitor on-the-field operations and supervise subordinates in ensuring good turnaround time as per target for all customers (internal customers (business units) and external customers).
∎ Monitor both air, sea and sea-air freight clearance functions of the group.
∎ Keep up-to-date on C&F rules, guidelines, etc. such as H.S. Codes for providing clearance quotes, tariffs/licenses, shipment bookings, etc.
∎ Direct subordinates in using ASYCUDA system for manifest, customs declaration, documentation and other formalities for smooth examining and clearance of import/export from customs.
∎ Coordinate with Customs authorities to solve service and operational concerns and deficiencies. Ensure compliance with local procedures with regards to handling of high/low value goods/shipments.
∎ Procure new customers through providing market competitive clearance rates for shipments that is initiated through RFQ.
∎ Conduct feasibility studies of onboarding new customers, including project cargo to enhance the customer base of C&F business.
∎ Monitor costs of operation at C&F and provide guidelines to subordinates in optimizing costs whenever possible.
∎ Maintain good business relations/effective liaison with government officials, C&F Agents, Concerned Agencies, Trade Bodies, Banks, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders and other stakeholders for quick resolution to any clearance issues.
∎ Ensure timely performance feedback on both an individual and team level that keeps staff motivated.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years working experience in Clearing & Forwarding, Freight Forwarding in 100% Export oriented Garments/Knit Composite Textile Industry
∎ Excellent communication both written & spoken English.
∎ Should have good interpersonal communication skill and strong negotiating skills
∎ Should be energetic, confident and proactive and able to work independently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
∎ Strong Knowledge to negotiate and contract about Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Sales Contract..
∎ Well experienced on Foreign Exchange Guide Line related to Export activities and shipping terms.
∎ Well experienced on international and incoming remittance.
∎ Good understanding of import/export documentations.
∎ Should have vast knowledge in freight forwarding.
∎ Should have experience in using ERP software.
∎ Independently motivated, extremely driven and result oriented
∎ High proficiency in MS Office programme (Word, Excel, Outlook)
