∎ BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Technology Division:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop clean, simple, and readable code following consistent naming conventions and existing architecture.
∎ Collaborate with the technical team to define architectures and design patterns for the backend API.
∎ Work closely with product, QA, and UX teams to design and implement the best solutions for our consumers.
∎ Develop RESTful APIs and facilitate integration with middleware to ensure seamless communication between legacy and modern systems.
∎ Demonstrate expertise in Java J2EE and Spring Boot, applying Object-Oriented programming, multi-threading, asynchronous processing, and ORM concepts.
∎ Leverage your experience in working with TLS, HTTP/(S) protocol, and RESTful services using Spring Boot, JPA, and MVC.
∎ Ensure adherence to Git flow lifecycle, NGINX, Docker, and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management.
∎ Understand business requirements in the banking/financial domain and design solutions that align with those needs.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments to continuously enhance the application's performance and functionality.
∎ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating business goals into actionable work assignments.
∎ Provide BAU support and ensure system application support for relevant application stakeholders.
∎ Demonstrate a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment and technology stack.
∎ Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment, being a valuable team player.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on development experience in related fields, with a primary focus on backend API development using Java J2EE and Spring Boot.
∎ Proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle, with a strong understanding of database design and query optimization.
∎ Experience in digital onboarding applications will add value.
∎ Proven track record in RESTful API development, facilitating communication between legacy and modern systems.
∎ Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented programming, multi-threading, asynchronous processing, and ORM concepts.
∎ Working experience with TLS, HTTP/(S) protocol, and RESTful services using Spring Boot, JPA, and MVC.
∎ Proficiency in Git flow lifecycle, NGINX, Docker, and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management.
∎ Familiarity with Python scripting and Node.js programming is a plus.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
∎ Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment, promoting collaboration and iterative development.
∎ Be customer centric, self-propelled and team player.
