Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation / Post Graduation in Textile Engineering /any discipline from reputed educational institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, mentor and coach a team of woven developers to ensure timely development and commercialization of the woven line.
∎ Manage (including goal setting, performance review, hiring decisions, team culture, etc.)
∎ Provide leadership and mentor-ship to the team members to build their skill sets and develop opportunities for them to grow their career.
∎ Manage and maintain a product development system that is clear, concise and transparent to all teams involved.
∎ Maintain accountability to established calendar dates and ensure on time delivery of product.
∎ Research the market and stay relevant with current construction and technology trends.
∎ Maximize efficiencies and achieve sustainability goals for the company.
∎ Design the product development processes to contribute to attainment of the targets.
∎ Ensure maintenance or evolution of fit as trend, market and brand needs change.
∎ Research for future concepts and innovations within technology, fabrics, components, trims etc. for commercial opportunities.
∎ Any other responsibilities as required by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fabric (woven) knowledge, technical knowledge (dyeing, warping, weaving, finishing, Q)
∎ Knowledge of QC process
∎ Up to date knowledge on equipment/machinery.
∎ Planning and analytical skill
∎ Computer literacy
