Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep and repair of store facilities and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on store equipment (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing).
- Quickly address repair needs and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain the physical condition of the store (walls, floors, ceilings).
- Manage maintenance inventory and expenses within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct safety audits.
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies and specialized repairs.
