Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To become a licensed lifeguard, in order to deliver the necessary skills such as water rescues, First Aid, and CPR when needed. Skill levels must be audit ready at all times in order to exceed the highest standards of safety.
∎ understand and follow Park Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Actions Plans in order to have in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements and protocol.
∎ Ensure all Lifeguards uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
∎ Responsible for monitoring, recording, maintaining paperwork such as: incident reports, rosters etc.
∎ Responsible for Scheduling Swimming Activities/Classes for guests according to booking procedures of the Property
∎ Assists with maintaining a safe aquatic area(s) which may include providing work direction to staff, providing real time feedback and noting suggestions and comments to the Recreation & Sports Manager
∎ Coordinate lifeguard placement and rotations during shift to ensure efficient guarding and safety.
∎ May act as a lifeguard during Head Lifeguard shift modeling standards and expectations throughout shift.
∎ Serve as first level contact responding and documenting incidents which may occur when other lifeguard staff need assistance.
∎ Provide quality customer service to members and participants.
∎ Assist with implementation of in-service training sessions.
∎ Follow Emergency Action Plan and Procedures when required
∎ Hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment, including in the water and anywhere in the zone of responsibility, with or without reasonable accommodations.
∎ Ensure Privacy of Guests and maintain Confidentiality as per Company Policy
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the Management and Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good Verbal and Written communication skill in English
∎ Ability to recognize the swimmers' need of assistance.
∎ Ability to recognize, respond and remedy unsafe situations.
∎ Ability to work with diverse populations and ages.
∎ Ability to serve as a positive role model and provide constructive feedback.
∎ Leadership skill
∎ Time Management skill
