Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee implementation and monitoring of SGBV, CBP, Legal Protection & Protection Monitoring activities
∎ Ensure effective strategic planning and overall management including HR, Budget and operations
∎ Maintain a good coordination with different stakeholders, and contribute in networking
∎ Maintain regular communication with partners/ donors for implementing high standard program activities and advocacy with the relevant stakeholders
∎ Participate and contribute in Protection Task Team, Protection working group, PSEA, GBV Sub sector and GBV IMS groups and update organization contribution
∎ Prepare technical specifications, Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) and Guidelines for program/sector
∎ Prepare reports for Head Office, Donors, Government and UN agencies and internal stakeholders on regular basis
∎ Ensure quality of Program implementation and establish and maintain a strong accountability mechanism
∎ Manage budget expenses on time for ensuring effective budget management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Protection, GBV in refugee settings of any INGO or UN agencies is required
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management, and donor management
∎ Have excellent knowledge and understanding of local communities and customary rules
∎ Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
∎ Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work
