Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum LLB from any reputed university having no 3rd class in academic records.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Drafting and reviewing all sorts of landing documents including but not limited to loan agreements, lease agreements
∎ Ensure proper vetting of immovable properties offered as security, genuineness checking of the same
∎ Cross check external legal opinion in line with internal and regulatory framework, as and when required
∎ Provide legal opinion on various issues of the bank i.e. credit, compliance, HR related issues etc.
∎ Review ongoing cases and update the management accordingly
∎ Check documentations against all loans and advances under suits
∎ Provide legal opinion on all property related documents, legal vetting on all kinds of charge documents on a regular basis
∎ Attend court for filing suits, legal proceedings and follow up cases
∎ Correspondence with Panel Lawyers and maintain proper relationship to ensure smooth operation
∎ Monitor cases and update the Management/Board regarding progress
∎ Prepare Office Note/Memo, summon notice/Auction Notice/Other Notices and other drafts of legal matters as and when required
∎ To maintain MIS related to legal issues and reporting to Bangladesh Bank, other Regulatory Authorities and different Division or Head Office
∎ Correspondence with different stakeholders as and when required
∎ Productive, proactive and positive attitude.
∎ Age not over 40 years as on August 20, 2023
∎ Enrolment with Bangladesh Bar Council as an advocate
∎ Enrolment with High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh shall be regarded as a plus point
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience in following areas: in District Judge Court/Corporate Law Firm/Bank/NBFI
∎ Practical experience in Banking will be given preference
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skill.
