Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Textile Engineering
∎ Bachelor's degree in textile engineering or above/Equivalent
∎ Strong knowledge of laundry operations, including equipment, supplies, and procedures.
∎ Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subordinates & superiors
∎ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the day-to-day operations of the laundry facility
∎ Prevent & eliminate the process errors that may take place among the batches
∎ Ensuring that all products are delivered to finishing with the highest standards of quality as per buyer standard
∎ Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the laundry operations, ensuring that all staff are trained and adhere to these procedures.
∎ Develop and implement the sustainability washing program (i.e., Reduction of chemical & water consumption, elimination of pumice stones from the production)
∎ Manage and oversee the work of laundry staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to meet the needs of our clients.
∎ Prepare daily production plan & execute it efficiently
∎ Oversee the maintenance and repair of laundry equipment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to increase the efficiency and profitability of the laundry operations reducing the wet minutes, water & chemical consumption
∎ Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations of buyer or internal protocols and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment for staff.
∎ Maintain neat & clean working environment following 5S standard
∎ Maintain & execute various advanced washing operations like pre-ozone, wet ozone, smart-foam, e-flow, core etc
∎ Troubleshoot the various issues related to denim washing/dyeing like shade variation, tear, tensile, color fastness etc. issues.
∎ Any other task assigned by HOD laundry
