Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are looking for an experienced and passionate Developer to join our backend team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic developer who will work in our Web Development Team to develop Web Applications and RESTApi to interchange data between the server and client application (iOS, Android, and Web Client).
∎ Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end;
∎ You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well;
∎ You will be responsible for working as an active team member for requirement analysis, system design, database design, and preparing software requirement specifications considering both high level to low level concepts.
∎ Understanding the architecture and writing scalable code for Web and REST API.
∎ Building efficient and reusable PHP modules.
∎ Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges regarding the back- end;
∎ Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.);
∎ Must be familiar with Agile (Scrum) process and project management tools like JIRA;
∎ Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel;
∎ Strong Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
∎ Experienced in Angular, ReactJS, and VueJS will be added value.
∎ Understanding web security is a must.
∎ Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions;
∎ Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
∎ User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments;
∎ Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
∎ Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
∎ Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages;
∎ Solid understanding of using versioning tools, e.g., Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or SVN.
∎ Good knowledge of AWS/EC2 or other Web Services is a plus.
