∎ Job Description: We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our company`s technologies are used appropriately. Sound technical knowledge and commendable knowledge of the latest technical trends are necessary for this role. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are also essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we would like to meet you.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals and looking after the running and upcoming projects of the company
∎ Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
∎ Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
∎ Build quality assurance and data protection processes
∎ Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
∎ Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology for delivering right services
∎ Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
∎ Knowledge of technological trends to devise strategy, budget and business-planning
∎ Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
∎ Experience is large government or public project handling will be an added advantage
∎ Working with international donor agencies and handling of large public funds will be an added advantage
∎ Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude
∎ Technical certifications like ITIL, CISA, CISM, CSA, DBA, CAN, Scrum Master, PMP, PSM etc. will be added advantage
∎
∎ Special Requirements: Practical knowledge and ideas on design thinking, innovation strategies, makers' lab and innovation hub will be a major requirement as EATL has an upcoming innovation hub project. As the technical leader of EATL, the CTO must have knowledge and idea on latest innovation related trends like AI, BI, AR/VR, IoT, Data Science, Sandbox, Block Chain and Cryptos.
Salary:
∎ Attractive and market-competitive salary will be offered to the incumbent with office pool car for transport and logistics support. Festival bonuses are offered during two Eid festivals and additional project/performance-based bonuses are offered based on performance appraisal.
