Experience:

• Diploma /BSC in Medical technology (LAB), Completed from Institute of Health Technology or Private reputed institute.

• Minimum 02-year(s) experience, in particular Rohingya and surrounding host communities will get preference·

• Clinical research center, Diagnostic center, Hospital Diagnostics, Lab and Diagnostics, Medical Technologist/ Lab Operator.

• Sound knowledge about QC control and calibration·

• Working experience with full automated/manual centrifuge machine and microscope.

• Prepare indent for reagents and supplies in consultation with lab technologist

• Oversee the stock of lab reagents and validity of lab supplies

• Assist lab technologists for quality assurance of lab supplies

• Assist lab technologist in preparing lab reports

• Ensuring proper storage of samples and packing for transport (from study site to external lab).

• Taking care of, manage and organize efficiently the laboratory material/equipment

• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance for biomedical equipment used. Following the user manual and protocols and alert supervisor in case of malfunctioning

• Applying hygiene and safety protocols, doing daily cleaning, maintenance, sterilization, washing general glassware after procedures are done.

• Ensuring proper sample waste disposal according to national protocols and highest safety standards.

• Supplying orders, carrying out stock, storage conditions follow-up, keep inventory.

• Analyzing lab reports for accuracy.

• Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the management.

Professional Responsibilities

• Oversee the rational use of medicines and keep in touch about the inventory of supplies, adapting to supply chain limitations.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, record-keeping, and data reporting in facility registers and the EMR system.

• Assist lab technologist to enter the data on EMR

• Record keeping and reporting of patient’s lab register

• Assist medical data assistant in compiling day to day reporting

• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute by providing feedback and insights.

• Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention, control measures, and patient confidentiality, especially in a camp setting.

• Train supporting staffs and nurses on RDT testing and lab equipment usage and safety.
