• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
• Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology

• BSc in Textile Engineering/ Diploma in Textile Engineering - (Wet Processing)

• Age at least 20-25 years.

• Should be proactive self-motivated, well-mannered and hard working.

• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills both in writing and spoken English.

• Must have sound knowledge on Microsoft word, excel and power point.

• Must have flexible to work in odd hours if necessary.

As one of Bangladesh`s premier manufacturers in the RMG industry, we are seeking a skilled Lab Assistant to join our team in the Color Lab. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our products meet the precise color standards required by our buyers.

Job Summary:

The Lab Assistant will support lab personnel in preparing lab dips as per shift requirements, ensuring high-quality work, and adhering to the lab`s standard parameters. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing machine programming, handling chemicals, and continuously improving the lab dip process to meet buyer specifications.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Assist in managing all general and technical tasks within the lab, coordinating with shifting personnel.

• Receive standard swatches from the merchandising, dyeing, or other departments for lab dip preparation.

• Prepare and manage all types of stock solutions necessary for lab dip dyeing.

• Ensure proper labeling of lab dip recipes on each shift.

• Program lab machines, load and unload dye pots for the dyeing process.

• Perform hot washes post-dyeing to achieve the correct shade.

• Develop and implement improved dye recipes for optimal results.

• Monitor the lifespan of stock solutions and maintain accurate records.

• Generate detailed lab dip data reports.

• Participate in internal training programs to enhance laboratory knowledge and skills.
