Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise daily kitchen and canteen operations to ensure timely and efficient food service.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen and canteen activities.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Plan, develop, and cost menus in consultation with the chef.
Oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality standards and consistency.
Control of waste management procedures.
Train and supervise kitchen and canteen staff.
Monitor stock levels and place orders for food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
Ensure that the kitchen and canteen comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
