Qualifications:·        

• Bachelor’s degree in Film & Media Studies, Multimedia Production, Communication, Fine Arts, or a relevant field from a reputable institution.

• Applicants from other fields may apply if they can present a strong showreel and relevant work experience.

• 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing, videography, or multimedia production.

• Must have a showreel/portfolio showcasing their best work. The link must be included in the CV. The candidate should mention their specific role in the showreel/portfolio.

• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is required.

• Basic understanding of camera operation—exposure, composition, white balance, and focusing.

• Knowledge of studio lighting setups and basic green‑screen shooting techniques.

• Experience recording audio using Zoom, RØDE, Boya, etc.

• Familiarity with OBS Studio or basic switching mechanisms is a plus.

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, or animation is an added advantage.

• Good communication and collaboration skills in both Bengali and English.

• Willingness to learn new tools and continuously develop skills.

• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong teamwork skills.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Junior Video Editor to join our Creative Services team, Red Balloon. This role is ideal for someone with intermediate editing skills, a basic understanding of studio production, and a strong willingness to learn. The selected candidate will support studio shoots, operate essential production equipment, and edit video content for internal and external use.

The candidate should be comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, handling cameras, recording and editing audio, setting up lights and green screens, and working with basic switching/streaming tools such as OBS Studio. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in studio and on‑site video shoots, including handling DSLR/mirrorless studio cameras with proper framing, exposure, and focus.

·         Set up and operate basic studio equipment such as lights, softboxes, LED panels, tripods, microphones, and green screens.

·         Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, maintaining clarity, pacing, and narrative flow.

·         Perform green‑screen keying, background replacement, and simple color correction.

·         Ensure clean audio recording and perform basic audio editing and noise cleanup.

·         Assist with switching and streaming setups using OBS Studio or similar tools.

·         Organize project files, footage, timelines, and maintain proper backups.

·         Support video production tasks during events, workshops, trainings, or campaigns.

·         Stay updated on basic video production techniques and editing tools.

·         Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
