∎ BSc in CSE from any reputed University

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to acceptance and regression testing efforts
∎ Running automated tests, monitoring results for regression purposes
∎ Monitoring logs and deciding when there is a problem, during the testing process, investigating possible bugs
∎ Reporting bugs following the team standards
∎ Support the team in releasing new functionality on a frequent basis
∎ Ensure all relevant team members are aware of potential blockers
∎ Develop a strong knowledge of the high dependency multi-tiered architecture
∎ Review user stories and provide support to product managers in delivering requirements to the development team
∎ Comfortable testing UI components, focusing on implementation being accurate to design specifications and
∎ ensuring behaviour matches acceptance criteria.
∎ Champion excellent quality within the team; push high standards in all aspects of development
∎ Develop a deep understanding of the Kanban methodologies the teams within Ding use
∎ Be engaged in an open and collaborative environment.
∎ Have a proactive mindset - to not be afraid to ask questions
∎ To be adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-2 years' experience in a software testing role
∎ Ability to interrogate databases using SQL
∎ Experience of product and testing tools such as JIRA Agile, Kanbanize, TCLab, Bugzilla, Test Rail etc.
∎ Ability to manage frequent release cycles.
∎ Strong attention to details
∎ Strong understanding of the SDLC.
∎ Comfortable with multi-tasking across different products and stages of the project life cycle.
∎ Interest to learn and improve automated testing skills
∎ Experience using REST API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.).
∎ Experience in testing backend applications and databases.
∎ Exposure to build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy.
∎ Experience writing test cases in Gherkin language
∎ Experience working in an Agile/Lean environment
∎ Basic knowledge of OOP language and design patterns (C#, Java etc)
