Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
Excellent typing skill in English and Bengali.
Practical experience in dealing with CR Case (NI Act) and Artha Rin Cases.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensuring Compliance with Financial Institution Act, Companies Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, Artha Rin Ain, Bangladesh Bank Circulars, BSEC Notifications & Rules, and other related rules and regulations of the regulators;
Preparing ‘legal documents’ for various purposes of the Company;
Preparing and/or checking agreements, charge & security documents such as ‘deed of mortgage’, ‘irrevocable general power of attorney’, ‘deed of redemption of mortgage’, ‘documents related to creation of charges with RJSC&F’, ‘share purchase agreement’, ‘joint venture agreement’, etc.;
Providing legal opinion regarding any procedural lapse or operational flaw in the Company;
Monitoring, supervising, and maintaining liaison with panel lawyers regarding lawsuits;
Monitoring and representing the Company in the ‘courts of law’ in the suits and cases filed and/or to be filed against defaulted borrowers, fraudsters etc.;
Preparing strategies for acceleration of all pending suits and cases;
Preparing progress report of suits and cases filed and submitting the same to the Management, Board of Directors and Bangladesh Bank;
Any other activities as and when assigned by the Management.
