Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Receive fabric booking sheet and sit with Department Head for setting the knitting parameter.
∎ Must have the ability to set fabric types wise knitting parameter (Yarn count, Machine Dia, Machine Gauge, Stitch Length, Finish Dia, Color wise Stitch Variation)
∎ Prepare plan if need out sourcing for Knitting.
∎ Develop new fabric item to sustain challenging market.
∎ Research the new trend in worldwide RMG market and invent new fabric accordingly. (Polyester, Nylon, Any other Special Composition)
∎ Follow up heat setting process specially for Spandex fabric.
∎ Take decision in finishing stage to control fabric dimensional stability.
∎ Maintain & follow-up sample quality parameters.
∎ Respect the buyer requirement wise testing method and working to pass the test accordingly.
∎ Maintain buyer requirement with following standard operating procedure. Assure the satisfaction of existing customer
∎ If need then Purchase yarn form local supplier and foreign supplier also.
∎ Follow up fabric delivery from knitting to Dyeing (In house & Out sourcing)
∎ Supervising the work of subordinate.
∎ Follow up fabric process from raw materials to finished goods
∎ Liaison with merchandiser, marketing all stuff to develop all kind of sample.
∎ Have the ability to make fabric costing.
∎ Liaison with buyer to fulfill their requirement.
∎ Co-ordination with related departments to achieve the targets.
∎ Making fabric delivery report including all kind of parameter.
∎ Liaison with other management and merchandising team to achieve the shipment goal.
∎ Prepare cost effective proper plan for smooth production
∎ Properly use resources (manpower, machine, material) to control the costing.
∎ Maintain a healthy atmosphere with management to deliver quality goods on time.
∎ Any other task assigned by the reporting authority.

∎ We are seeking a compatible Junior Executive- R&D (Knitting) who will work for our Knit Garment factory, J.M. Fabrics Limited at Rajendrapur, Gazipur and who meets the following Criteria:
