Job Responsibilities:
∎ This role will work directly with Community Development Officer and AP staff
∎ DMIS checking the reference sheet and other documents reporting and
∎ Sub Project Proposal (SPP) and Purchase requisition (PR) preparation.
∎ Spend 75% of time working at office and 25% with communities at the field level keeping good working relationship with partners and stakeholders is expected
∎ Assist the Community Development Officer to Facilitate community led development process with VDC and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Build relationships with individuals, social groups, institutions, and organizations;
∎ Organize community to be united, develop, monitor and implement Community Development Plans and shared projects;
∎ Encourage, affirm, and strengthen those individuals and groups who are working for and with the most vulnerable children;
∎ Encourage an understanding of and sensitivity to child development and child vulnerability factors among community members and partners;
∎ Facilitate relationship building and strengthen relationships and partnerships between existing groups in the community;
∎ Coordinate with AP level technical specialists and other sector staffs for effective program integration and quality implementation;
∎ Provide support to community facilitators / groups for effective implementation for effective implementation of CESP and TP activities;
∎ Establish community led child monitoring and other sector based community led monitoring;
∎ Assist Community Development Officer to select, train, support and monitor community facilitators / groups in implementing TP and CESP activities;
∎ Engage at individual and household level to facilitate the development process of Most Vulnerable;
∎ Assist Community Development Officer to activate community-based Child Protection mechanisms and local level advocacy processes;
∎ Ensure monitoring and evaluation of activities as per M&E systems, tools and guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Minimum of 2 years working experience in development at the community level, VDC, CSOs under any INGOs / NGOs to implement community development projects
∎ Computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, power point and capable to use Internet
∎ Passion and dedication for working with the most Vulnerable,
∎ Strong Knowledge on social dimension
∎ Good communication and networking skill
∎ Good proficiency in Bengali and English-both written and verbal,
∎ Good time management skills,
∎ Practicing gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
∎ Able to ride bicycle at the rural and coastal area
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
