Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015 & 2022;
  • Prepared for any kind of compliance audit as per buyer COC & standard;
  • Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as Orientation, Grievance, OHS, etc;
  • Ensure grievance management system;
  • Establish effective both way flow of communication between management and workers and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between the management and workers;
  • Look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate wash room facility, drinking water, etc;
  • Advise and brief workers on the proper use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety and others health and safety related issues;
  • Maintain compliance as per compliance guidelines and company policy;
  • Conduct awareness training programs on rules and regulations as per Buyer's Code of Conduct & law of the country;
  • Conduct orientation for new employees;
  • Organize, TU, SC and Grievance meetings, preparing minutes and circulating;
  • Take care of workers, special care of pregnant & injured workers;
  • Counseling and follow up pregnant workers;
  • Ensuring Maternity benefits as per Labor Law;
  • Update to management all compliance reports in regular interval etc;
  • Need to work with “Better Work Bangladesh”.
