Job Context:
∎ Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) is a national non-government development organization in Bangladesh. This organization is helping the under-privileged people of Bangladesh by providing financial support, education, healthcare, capacity building training, women empowerment, entrepreneurship development, disaster response & climate change, market linkage etc. that enhance their lives & livelihoods. GUK is operating in 56 districts of Bangladesh by setting up 500 offices and deploying more than 5500 employees. GUK has taken a special initiative for prevention and control of needless and blindness of the mass people and therefore, the organization has established 3 modern well equipped eye hospitals in Dhaka, Bogura, and Dinajpur for providing quality eye care service at affordable cost.
∎ GUK is looking for IT & EMR In-Charge to lead the entire GUK Eye hospital (Staff database, training, data entry, report generation, feedback, escalations of issues, etc.) regarding EMR application usage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To lead the entire GUK Eye hospital (Staff database, training, data entry, report generation, feedback, escalations of issues, etc.) regarding EMR application usage.
∎ To coordinate with various IT and other vendors for on-time service delivery of hardware, software applications, and other infrastructure
∎ To crafts clear scope of work with specification regarding IT product and services to roll out RFP (Request For Proposal)
∎ To ensure that all users (MRD, Refractionists/Optometrists, Doctors, OT Staff, Ward staff, Counselling staff, etc.) are trained and well versed in EMR before going live.
∎ Following tasks are to be managed but not limited to:
∎ EMR application and its issues - to coordinate with the software solution provider till it's resolved
∎ To track all tickets raised and its status for all hardware and software in hospital
∎ All infrastructure such as UPS, Invertors, Diesel Generators, earth pit, lightning arrestor, etc.
∎ To implement information security and data protection initiatives
∎ To manage IT assets inventory and to report management if any discrepancies found
∎ To coordinate with finance for vendor payments and ensure payments are done as per agreed scope of work and service delivery
∎ To ensure all off boarding staff credentials are deactivated before they leave the organization
∎ Submitting OPEX and CAPEX budgeting to Sr. management annually with justifications if deviations are more than agreeable limit with planned vs actual spent.
∎ Documenting IT service providers' invoices, payment receipts, reports/maintenance work orders
∎ Submitting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for any major incident/accident that affects patients flow, patient safety, financial transaction and business operations.
∎ Implementing disaster recovery initiatives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Basic knowledge of troubleshooting desktops, laptops, thin clients, networks, server, printers, scanners, firewall, network switches and other peripherals.
∎ Adaptability to travel and support respective hospital branches and vision centers
∎ To support during new vision center or hospital inauguration if required
∎ Hands-on experience in
∎ MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
∎ SQL, Database Basic troubleshooting and Query Processing
∎ L0 and L1 support on cloud-based applications
∎ Basic IIS Concepts
∎ Knowledge of Zabbix or similar monitoring tool is preferred
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
