Experience:

• Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.

• Must have Registration of Pharmacy Council as "B or C" grade.

GUK is operating in 56 districts of Bangladesh by setting up 500 offices and deploying more than 5500 employees. GUK has taken a special initiative for prevention and control of needless blindness of the mass people and therefore, the organization has established 3 modern well equipped eye hospitals in Dhaka, Bogura and Dinajpur for providing quality eye care service at affordable cost.

GUK is looking for Pharmacist for the Eye Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed medicine, and to evaluate their suitability.
• Provides information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication, storage to the clients/patients.
• Maintains records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, inventories and maintains registries of narcotics, and controlled drugs.
• Oversees the acquisition and disbursement of drugs and medications to various patients and other sites.
• Plans, implements and maintains procedures for storing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
• Ensure proper management of the date expired medicine items from time to time.
• Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Advises customers on the selection of medication brands, and health care supplies.
• Orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly.
• Any others task assigned by the management from time to time.

• Salary is negotiable for the highly experienced candidate.
