Additional Requirements:
  • Age 28 to 40 years
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Good command of English and Bengali, both written and spoken.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital record management.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively handle medical emergencies.

  • Willingness to provide emergency/on-call support outside regular office hours when required.

  • Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.

  • Candidates having a third division/class or equivalent CGPA at any educational level may not be considered.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide primary medical consultation and basic healthcare services to students, faculty members, officers, and staff of the University.

  • Provide immediate medical attention and first-aid management during emergencies.

  • Perform minor medical procedures, including wound care, dressing, injections, and other procedures within the scope of professional practice.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, treatment notes, prescriptions, and medical reports.

  • Provide appropriate health advice and counselling to students and employees regarding illness, medication, preventive healthcare, and general wellbeing.

  • Ensure the availability and proper management of essential medicines, emergency drugs, and medical supplies at the University Medical Centre.

  • Issue medical certificates and related documentation in accordance with University policy and professional requirements.

  • Provide medical consultation or emergency support outside regular office hours when required.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable medical, ethical, safety, and institutional requirements.

  • Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the University Authority.
