Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology & Imaging Department. The incumbent will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining image quality, following radiation safety standards, operating imaging equipment efficiently, and coordinating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform X-ray and other assigned diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician/radiologist requests and departmental protocols.
Verify patient identity, examination requests, clinical information, and prepare/position patients appropriately.
Operate radiology and imaging equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Apply appropriate technical parameters and minimize unnecessary repeat examinations and radiation exposure.
Follow ALARA principles, radiation safety standards, and ensure proper use of radiation protection equipment.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
Provide appropriate assistance and precautions for emergency, pediatric, elderly, pregnant, critically ill, and special-category patients.
Review images for positioning, exposure, artifacts, and overall technical quality before completing examinations.
Perform routine equipment checks, maintain imaging-room readiness, and promptly report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
Maintain accurate patient, examination, and imaging records in HMS/PACS or relevant systems.
Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, emergency teams, and other departments for efficient and timely imaging services.
Follow hospital SOPs, infection-control policies, quality standards, and participate in quality assurance, training, and other departmental activities as assigned.
