Job Context:
∎ Increase Quality performances of factories and Bangladesh
∎ Train factories about LC Waikiki memorandums and requirements.
∎ Ensure all proper conductions done before bulk started; such as preproduction, fabric inspection, cutting, stitching, packing, metal deduction, accessories attachment.
∎ Ensure in-lines conducts on time and all styles are conducted without any missing. Avoid styles are running incorrect lines/ units / factories based on capability.
∎ Report to Technical Manager if any problem is not solved and defects continues. Perform AQL and send report to the concern of HO/LO. Set improvement targets & goals with Management & Supervisors.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand and ensure factories apply all Garment Technical requirements (Manual and Memorandum).
∎ Ensure fabric inspected, prepared LCR process and know by the factory.
∎ Ensure the shrinkage tested –resulted and recorded prior adjust pattern by the factory.
∎ Ensure cutting controlled properly and fully filled avoid cutting mistakes.
∎ When needed, ensure necessary mock-up is to be prepared, tested and approved prior to bulk process.
∎ Ensure trims, accessories inventoried, inspected and record kept by the factory.
∎ Check fusing , Data sheet application/conditions.
∎ Asses the production risks before bulk started, sample and pattern evaluation, take actions.
∎ Ensure production lines are capable & set correct for the garment before production started
∎ Avoid styles are running incorrect lines/ units / factories based on capability
∎ Monitor sewing operation by operation
∎ Ensure stitching quality is as per LC Waikiki standards,
∎ Ensure approval sample always available in front of line and all Technical information available in the factory
∎ Ensure machine are working properly and maintenance has been done
∎ Proceed In-line inspections properly and recorded, co-relation with CPM for line plan and feedback accordingly.
∎ Proceed In-line measurements (before and after) properly and recorded, Humidity checking periodically.
∎ Maintain Technical compliance Blue & Grey Codes, Red code, monitoring and reporting.
∎ Train manufacturer regarding metal detection process and monitored
∎ Built factory team performance/ improvement and warehouse return analysis.
∎ Information passed on first time to the right person to achieve right 1st time. Decreasing warehouse failure.
∎ Work & Engage with factory Management & Supervision in all areas of production,
∎ Set improvement targets & goals with Management & Supervisors
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Fluent spoken and written English
∎ Having significant experience in Buying Management roles
∎ Good communication skills with internal and external customers
∎ Required to have a disciplined approach to process controls
∎ Candidate is expected to be very proactive, dynamic and self-motivated.
