∎ About the USAID`s YES ACTIVITY Program:
∎ The objective of the project is to reduce the risk of conflict in Cox`s Bazar by creating sustainable, market oriented resilient livelihood opportunities for host communities. All interventions under the program`s outcomes will aim to contribute to a supportive environment for women and girls, while directly addressing barriers and challenging negative gender norms and perceptions with innovative approaches.
∎ Position Summary:
∎ Reporting to YES Project Manager, the Information Management Officer role is to ensure that information required to support YES project implementation is collected, organized, and distributed to all stakeholders and partners. Additionally, she/he will work closely with RI Global M&E department to make a better use of all the information analysis to better inform the project implementation and design.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination:
∎ Establish and maintain an information management network internally and with the consortium partners, in accordance with RI guidance to facilitate information exchange and the promotion of data and information standards
∎ Work with RI Regional M&E team on creating information tools and services to ensure a smooth transition of information between RI, partners and donor
∎ Engage with the consortium partners to ensure that information activities are coordinated and consistent with USAID and RI standards and practices
∎ Provide training and expertise on the use and development of information management tools and platforms to the consortium partners
∎ Work closely with partners to monitor and maintain the quality of data gathered through the project data platform
∎ Data Management:
∎ Design, develop and manage databases, spreadsheets and other data tools
∎ Understand, document, and ensure the quality of data for accuracy, consistency and comparability
∎ Consolidate operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis.
∎ Maintain an up to date database of activities, and data on the TraiNET online platform
∎ Data Analysis:
∎ Organize, design and carry out the evaluation and analysis of location specific datasets through meaningful statistical techniques, as requested from Project Manager.
∎ Participate in the development, implementation and management of the project donor and internal indicators.
∎ Assessment Analysis:
∎ Support RI M&E department in any assessment and needs analysis activities, including project needs overviews, secondary data reviews, preliminary scenario definitions and multi-cluster initial rapid assessments
∎ Manage platforms and tools that support data collection and analysis such as KoBo Toolbox
∎ Visualization:
∎ Produce and update information products such as reports, charts and info graphics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline
∎ Develop advocacy materials including posters, presentations and other visual materials.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years' experience working in a similar job with INGO/NGO in Cox's bazar is preferable
∎ Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
∎ Experience working in data and information management or relevant experiences
∎ Experience in develop data collection tools, information products and advocacy materials
∎ Strong background and skills in managing data and data collection, beside facilitating trainings and coaching to partners
∎ Excellent coordination skills
∎ Excellent Competency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, power point
∎ Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties
∎ Writing reports
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
∎ Language Skills:
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in Bengali and English.
