∎ Professional experience in human rights, climate justice, gender justice, economic development, or natural disaster response. Willingness to develop expertise in all these core areas.
∎ Ability to build and manage partnerships, liaise, and network with a wide range of civil society, NGO and government actors.
∎ Strong facilitation skills and ability to conduct workshops, seminars, meetings and capacity strengthening events.
∎ Strong understanding of gender and diversity and the ability to apply this within policy and influencing work.
∎ Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work collaboratively in a wide variety of cultural contexts.
∎ Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
∎ Excellent information gathering and analytical skills.
∎ High-level of self-awareness, strong interpersonal skills, collegiality, and ability to deal with stressful situations and tight deadlines with good humor. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel to rural and remote areas, including during humanitarian emergencies.
∎ Commitment to Oxfam's vision and mandate is essential.
∎ Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
∎ Strong knowledge of human rights and humanitarian principles.
∎ Good contacts with Government, NGOs, academia, humanitarian donors, media and private sector.
∎ Professional experience with communications, campaigning, and social media.
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
∎ Commitment to Oxfam's safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible

Salary:
∎ As per Oxfam national D1 pay band
