Prior experience in workwear garments is preferred.
Familiarity with GSD or any other SMV calculation software is an added advantage.
Experience in using individual efficiency calculation software is a plus.

Job Overview:
Eastport Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage 4-5 sewing production lines, handling all Industrial Engineering (IE) functions for garments with high Standard Minute Value (SMV), ranging from 50 to 130 minutes, such as jackets, coveralls, and trousers. The role also involves managing quick changeover (QCO) for small quantity orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strong knowledge of efficient sewing layout design and line balancing for high-SMV garments.
Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production processes to enhance overall productivity.
Implement effective production control measures to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
Monitor low-efficiency production lines and workers, taking the necessary steps to improve efficiency levels.
Analyze individual operator performance through the system and develop action plans to enhance their skills.
Collaborate with the production and technical teams to develop worker skills and improve overall efficiency.
Work effectively to achieve the company`s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
