Position Overview

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator (Tier-2/Tier-3) to join our team. In this role, you will handle complex computer hardware, software, and network issues that Tier-1 support cannot resolve, assist users with solving technical problems, install and update systems, and collaborate with the HQ IT team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and clear communication with staff and vendors are essential.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 IT support onsite across factory units, resolving hardware, software, and network issues escalated from Tier-1 support.

• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune services—including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint—managing user accounts, devices, and application access.

• Provide day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of SonicWall and FortiGate firewalls, working in coordination with the Portwest Infrastructure team and following agreed standards and change control.

• Manage and troubleshoot onsite network infrastructure, including switches, VLANs, patch panels, rack wiring, and LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, in line with Portwest network standards.

• Administer and support Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, IIS, File Services, Group Policies), following centrally defined architecture and security standards.

• Administer Ubuntu servers to support ERP systems (PHP/Laravel), including user and file access control, system backups, cron job scheduling, package updates, and basic troubleshooting.

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot factory-based ERP and production automation systems (Pro-X4), ensuring smooth operation, system uptime, and production tracking workflows.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data backup, system integrity, and IT security compliance.

• Create and maintain knowledgebase articles, IT documentation, asset inventory, and user access logs, and provide end-user training on IT equipment and internal applications.

• Support internal and external IT audits, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, and coordinate with ISPs and vendors for IT hardware, software procurement, and services.

• Maintain CCTV systems ( NVR, cameras), PA and PBX systems (IP PBX experience a plus), and support video conferencing and projector operations.
