Responsibilities & Context:

PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position Entry-Level ERP Associate on a full-time basis, located in Bangladesh and reporting to ERP Systems Manager. With 1400 styles across more than 20 ranges, we design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. JOB SUMMARY:

  • This is an entry-level role designed to develop long-term ERP capability within Portwest. Portwest utilizes Infor M3 ERP solution to manage and integrate the end-to-end business operations. The successful candidate will undergo structured, product-specific Infor M3 training and gain hands-on experience supporting the Portwest ERP landscape.

  • Initially focused on helpdesk and application support, the role will evolve into a functional M3 Specialist position within one or more business domains including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Warehousing, or Manufacturing.

  • This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career professional with strong analytical ability, curiosity about how businesses actually work, and the patience to deal with ERP systems without losing the will to live.

Work Arrangement: On-site

Office Location: Comilla EPZ

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Phase 1: Training & Core Support (Year 0–1)

  • Complete formal Infor M3 training across core modules and system architecture

  • Provide first line and second-line application support for Infor M3 users

  • Log, triage, and resolve ERP incidents and service requests

  • Escalate complex issues to senior M3 specialists or external partners when required

  • Assist with basic system configuration under supervision

  • Support data validation, master data maintenance, and basic reporting

  • Develop a strong understanding of Portwest business processes and workflows

  • Produce and maintain user documentation and training materials

Phase 2: Functional Specialisation (Year 1+)

  • Progress into a functional specialist role within a defined domain:

    • Finance

    • Supply Chain

    • Operations

    • Warehousing

    • Manufacturing

  • Act as the application SME for assigned modules and processes

  • Support enhancements, process improvements, and change requests

  • Participate in testing, upgrades, and ERP optimisation initiatives

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into system solutions

  • Support data quality, controls, and system governance
