∎ Follow up Team: Garments: Cutting
∎ Files & Document to be Maintained:
∎ Cutting production & efficiency master file (Excel based).
∎ Cutting quality master file (Excel based).
∎ Daily Production Reports (DPR) for company and buyers.
∎ Production and quality formats of cutting sections.
∎ Management reporting (manual and e-mail based).
∎ Floor BRT reports.
∎ Method improvement files.
∎ Master list of cutting Machines.
∎ Work Objectives:
∎ Utilization of production inputs-Machines, raw materials men (minutes capacity)
∎ Identifying the reasons of NPT (Non-Productive Time) from production process and suggest improvement measures.
∎ Increase efficiency of production of cutting.
∎ Improve production quality by through continuous analysis
∎ Be in process of continual development of working efficiency and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct Root cause analysis of poor performance in quality and productivity.
∎ Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in performance of Cutting production.
∎ Monitor cutting production and ensure optimum utilization of man, machine and material in the cutting section.
∎ Monitor and ensure all quality parameters like consistent color and GSM of the cut panels which are going in the sewing line.
∎ Ensure to manage the consumption and wastages as per the budget given by merchandising department.
∎ Check the daily cutting balance (WIP) and compile reports on progress of work and production problems.
∎ Communicate with product development team to make the product feasible for production and at the same time meeting customers' demand.
∎ Study, make & monitor the new style SMV information.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site
∎ Monitor all the cutting and preparation phases necessary to produce garments in the allotted time
∎ Prepare and modify monthly analysis reports with required updates and submit to department/reporting head.
∎ Assist cutting team in conducting Capacity Analysis based on booking status and analyzed performance.
∎ Assist in method improvement and effective capacity balancing.
∎ Actively participate in the running Productivity improvement projects with buyers and maintain necessary coordinating tasks as assigned by management.
∎ Ensure NPTs and work to improve cycle time of production processes.
∎ Prepare monthly progress report on productivity performance.
∎ Monitor floor effectiveness of IE activity and assist in settling down emerging issues thru coordinating with sectional respective responsible.
∎ Make sure the authentic records of daily, weekly and monthly production and reporting by respective and floor IE Officers.
∎ Data analysis and look into monthly trends of each KPIs.
∎ Actively take part with ERP section in developing and modifying IE related modules as per company's demand.
∎ Attend departmental team meeting and preparing meeting AGENDA.
∎ Produce necessary analysis report on demand of management.
∎ Coordinate with planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of factory efficiency.
∎ Be responsive to any other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Key Skills: IE theoretical knowledge; Management Reporting; Team leading; Analytical ability, creativity.
∎ Work Experience: 5-6 Years (Experience may be considered for well deserving candidate)
∎ Computer Skills: MS Office applications (Excel, Word & Power point)
∎ Other Qualification:
∎ Applicant must have proven experience of at least 5-6 years in Cutting Sections in Garments industry.
∎ Applicants serving in Knit Garments industry will be given preference.
∎ Must be smart, intelligent, dedicated and enriched with moral characteristics.
∎ Must have standard level of English language proficiency in writing and speaking.
