Job Context:
∎ Job Nature : Project-based contract.
∎ Duration of contract : Upto 31-12-2023 (with possibility of extension).
∎ Reportable To:Director & Head of Operation, PMO, Cox`s Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the HR & Admin department of the Population Movement Operation (PMO).
∎ Take part on preparing the annual HR budget and follow up implementation.
∎ Close coordination with National Headquarters', International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies, Other partner societies and departments.
∎ Coordination with Government authority and Law enforcing authority.
∎ Ensure necessary HR and administrative support to the operation and perform day to day HR/ administration of project activities and for the facilitation of the exchange of information between related stakeholders in the project implementation process.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures following with organizational policy.
∎ Perform a variety of Personnel Administration Functions, Review & Update of Job Descriptions, Evaluation of Performance and Annual Appraisals.
∎ Documentation and maintaining of personal files with accuracy and completeness.
∎ To manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the HR & Administration department in coordination with other departments including purchasing, budgeting, accounting (as required).
∎ Local Recruitment and Selection.
∎ Arranging various training/ workshop, conference/ meetings and venue booking.
∎ Maintaining employee disciplinary issues/ grievance handling.
∎ Participate in the forecast of funds needed for staffing,
∎ Equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement adjustments.
∎ Perform any other duties as instructed by the line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 08 years' working experience with minimum 04 years in similar position.
∎ Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English required.
∎ Excellent verbal communication skills and concise report writing skills.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian affairs.
∎ Proven skills and capacity at team building and partnership management.
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives.
∎ Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion, and diplomacy.
∎ Able to work in a multi-culture environment, able to take pressure, teamwork, self-motivated, organized, hardworking, and flexible regarding work hour and ability to live and work in challenging conditions.
∎ Strong professional and representational skills.
∎ Highly organized and innovative approach to work.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is must.
∎ Computer competency in Bangla (Bijoy) will be an asset.
∎ Age Limit :42 years (may be relaxed in case of outstanding candidates)
Salary:
∎ Up to BDT. 80,000/= (Consolidated).
