∎ যানবাহন ও যন্ত্রপাতির রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ ও মেরামত করা।
∎ যান্ত্রিক সমস্যার নির্ণয় ও সমাধান করা।
∎ নিয়মিত রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের জন্য শিডিউল অনুসারে কাজ করা।
∎ যন্ত্রাংশ ও সরঞ্জামের অবস্থার মূল্যায়ন করা।
∎ বিভিন্ন যান্ত্রিক সরঞ্জামের ব্যবহারে দক্ষতা।
∎ সঠিক রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের নথি সংরক্ষণ করা।
∎ নিরাপত্তা ও মান নিয়মাবলী মেনে চলা।
∎ মেরামত ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের সময় ব্যয় নির্ধারণ করা।
∎ সময়মত কাজ সম্পন্ন করা এবং তদারকি করা।
∎ অন্যান্য বিভাগ ও দলগুলোর সাথে সমন্বয় করা।
∎ Red Cross - Red Crescent movement is the largest volunteer organization in the world. The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is a national society of the movement, constituted on 31 March 1973 by the President's Order No. 26 of 1973 with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971. This is the biggest humanitarian organization in Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the government, the Society provides humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable people over the last 48 years and has undertaken a wide range of activities in humanitarian response, disaster management, health, capacity building and in promoting Red Cross/ Red Crescent ideals and principles.
