Supervision of Daily Operations
Oversee the overall functioning of hospital departments during assigned shifts.
Ensure smooth coordination between nursing, medical, administrative, and support staff.
Staff Management
Supervise and guide clinical and non-clinical staff on duty.
Handle staff scheduling, resolve conflicts, and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
Patient Care Oversight
Monitor patient care standards and resolve patient complaints or service delays.
Ensure timely medical attention and proper coordination with attending physicians.
Emergency Handling
Act as the central authority during emergencies and critical incidents.
Coordinate with emergency teams, ambulance services, and hospital authorities.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control measures.
Conduct routine inspections and report deviations to higher management.
Communication & Coordination
Serve as the point of contact between hospital management and floor-level operations.
Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and internal departments.
Record Keeping & Reporting
Prepare and submit daily operational reports and incident summaries.
Maintain logs of staff attendance, shift handovers, and equipment usage.
Inventory & Facility Monitoring
Monitor usage of medical supplies and ensure availability of critical resources.
Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Training & Support
Support onboarding of new staff and ensure they are oriented with hospital policies.
Identify staff training needs and communicate them to HR or training departments.
