Responsibilities & Context:

1.     Strategic Operations Management

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives. Prepare annual operational budgets and monitor performance against targets.

  • Support business growth through capacity planning and operational scalability initiatives.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals. Translate business plans into production and capacity planning.

  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Lead and oversee end-to-end operational functions.  

  • Employee management, administrative and factory operations activities.

 2.     Administrative and Operational Planning

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service quality.  Establish and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Ensure timely execution of projects, programs, and operational activities. Participate in high-level discussions regarding strategic growth.

  • Familiarity with all business functions of a furniture manufacturing business. Scheduling & Coordination all kinds of administrative functions.

 3.     Supply Chain & Inventory Control

  • Work closely with procurement department to pricing-quality issues and delivery terms. Implement inventory control systems to reduce waste and stock outs.

  • Ensure by procurement head timely availability of materials while minimizing inventory costs.

  • Eastablish and enforce quality standards for raw materials and finished products. Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.

 4.     Process Improvement and Efficiency

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity.

  • Optimize workflows, resource allocation, and operational systems. Promote the use of technology and automation where appropriate.

 5.     Cost Management & Efficiency Improvement

  • Monitor production & others costs and identify areas for cost reduction.

  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and process optimization techniques. Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and profitability.

  • Promote the use of technology and automation where appropriate.

6.     Financial and Budget Management

  • Develop and manage operational budgets and resource plans. Monitor operational expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

  • Support financial planning and contribute to profitability objectives.

 7.     Business Growth and Innovation

  • Support organizational growth through scalable operational frameworks. Identify opportunities for innovation, expansion, and operational excellence.

  • Lead change management initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.

8.     Workforce Management

  • Lead and manage all kinds of workforce. Ensure proper workforce planning, shift scheduling, and productivity tracking.

  • Oversee training and skill development programs for employees. Promote workplace discipline, safety, and performance culture.

9.     Production & Productivity

  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and profitability.

 10. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster a safe, accountable, and continuous improvement-driven work environment across the facility. Lead cross-functional activities with all department heads.

  • Collaborate closely with all department head to execute long-term strategic business plans. Report directly to the Managing Director and assist in strategic planning.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with business goals. Drive process improvement, productivity, and profitability across departments.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

 11. Maintenance & Facility Management

  • Ensure and processes improve to regular maintenance of machinery.

  • Minimize machine downtime through preventive maintenance systems. Oversee factory infrastructure, utilities, and safety systems.

12. Health-Safety-Security, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

  • Enforce occupational health and safety standards work place. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures. Maintain effective internal controls and governance practices. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

  • Perform all kinds of regulatory affairs (certification and compliances issues)

 13. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare regular operational reports for management authority. Use data-driven decision-making to improve operational performance

  • Track KPIs such as output per shift, rejection rate, material usage efficiency, and on-time delivery.
