• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Manufacturing / Textile Engineering or related field.

• At least 18 years

• 18+ years of experience in Sample & CAD operations, preferably in woven and denim garments.

• Strong expertise in CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex-v23 will be preferable, etc.).

• In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and marker efficiency.

• Excellent leadership, planning, and team management skills.

• Strong communication skills with buyers and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.

• CAD Software Expertise (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex -v23, etc.)

• Pattern Development & Fit Analysis

• Marker Planning & Fabric Optimization

Location: IFL Factory Ltd, 140 Dhour, Uttara, Turag, Dhaka-1230

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Sample section of 32 machines and CAD departments for woven and denim garments.

• Plan and execute the Sampling based on buyer tech packs and delivery schedules.

• Ensure timely sample submission with 100% compliance to buyer specifications.

• Oversee pattern making, grading, and marker planning using CAD software Optitex-v23.

• Maximize fabric utilization through efficient marker making and cost control.

• Coordinate closely with merchandising, production, and QA teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Check and approve patterns, fits, and sample quality before submission.

• Maintain effective communication with buyers/Buying office regarding sample comments and approvals.

• Lead, train, and motivate the sample room and CAD team to achieve departmental goals and KPI.

• Prepare and monitor T&A plans to ensure all samples are delivered on time.

• Prepare and maintain detailed sample status reports and performance metrics.

• Implement process improvements and introduce innovative CAD solutions to increase efficiency.
