1. Sales Strategy & Planning
· Develop and execute the bancassurance sales strategy aligned with overall business goals.
· Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs for the sales team.
· Identify and prioritize customer segments and products to focus sales efforts.
· Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to optimize sales processes and customer experience.
2. Team Leadership & Development
· Lead, mentor, and motivate the bancassurance sales team to achieve targets.
· Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to enhance their capabilities and performance.
· Monitor team performance, conduct appraisals, and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
3. Channel Management
· Manage the bancassurance sales channels within the bank (branch network, digital platforms, direct sales).
· Coordinate with insurance partners to align incentives, promotions, and joint sales campaigns.
· Monitor channel performance and optimize channel mix for maximum efficiency.
· Resolve escalations and customer issues related to sales and policy servicing.
4. Business Growth & Relationship Management
· Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, cross-selling, and upselling bancassurance products.
· Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (branch managers, product teams) and external insurance partners.
· Oversee large/strategic client deals and high-value cases.
5. Reporting & Compliance
· Track and report sales performance and pipeline to senior management.
· Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all sales activities.
· Implement risk mitigation strategies and maintain audit-ready documentation.
