Experience:
Sound Knowledge about Fiber Laser Cutting Machine, Shearing Machine & press Brake.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and performance metrics.
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in Steel and Metal Fabrication , pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
Market and Team Management:
Build and lead the sales team of Dhaka office, develop team assessment and training plans, and build a highly efficient local sales force.
Conduct in-depth research on market demand and competitive trends of Bangladesh sheet metal processing industry (automotive, home appliances, steel structures, etc.) and formulate regional annual sales strategies and targets (including sales volume, cash collection, and market share).
onitor sales KPIs, market share, brand performance, and operational efficiency, and report insights to the CEO/board.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to the sales team.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales and marketing team, setting clear KPIs, succession plans, and incentive systems.
Business Development and Customer Retention:
Learn and develop key local customers (sheet metal processing plants, manufacturers, engineering companies, etc.) in Bangladesh, identify potential needs, and provide customized solutions for equipment such as laser cutting machines, press brakes, and shearing machines.
Maintain relationships with key customers and follow up on the entire order process (quotation, contract negotiation, delivery coordination, and after-sales support) to ensure target cash collection rates are met.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in sectors like sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, and automotive industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, and decision-makers.
Visit customer sites to understand needs, offer technical solutions, and close deals
Interdepartmental Cooperation and Brand Building:
Efficiently collaborate with the technical, production and after-sales teams at headquarters to ensure equipment supply, installation, commissioning and technical support needs for local customers.
Participate in local industry exhibitions (e.g. Bangladesh Industrial Expo) and customer salons to increase the company`s sheet metal equipment brand awareness in the Bangladesh market.
Product & Technical Knowledge
Maintain deep knowledge of fiber laser cutting machines, shearing machines, and press brake machines.
Assist customers in choosing the right solution based on their technical requirements.
Coordinate with technical support teams for demos, trials, and after-sales service
Sales Operations & Reporting
Manage pricing, quotations, sales contracts, and negotiations.
Monitor sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads.
Provide regular sales reports to the head office on performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
Marketing & Promotion
Support local marketing efforts, trade shows, exhibitions, and roadshows.
Collaborate with HQ to customize promotional materials and digital campaigns for the Bangladesh market.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Business law, tax, VAT, and BSTI/quality certifications while upholding corporate governance standards.
Act as a liaison with head office, factory, and management to translate corporate strategy into actionable field plans.
Drive new business development, including product diversification, geographical expansion, and entry into untapped market segments.
Implement risk management practices, including credit control, market volatility mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sales process.
Address customer complaints or technical concerns promptly by working with the service team.
Strengthen dealer and institutional relationships through regular engagement, support programs, training, and loyalty initiatives.
