Experience:
BBA or MBA in Marketing, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Retail, Corporate Sales, FMCG Trade, or Merchandising.
Experience in supermarket retail or modern trade will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot, VLOOKUP, dashboards).
Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, SCM, and Marketing.
Strong analytical mindset and understanding of modern retail and FMCG trade.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong follow-up discipline.
About the Role
Meena Bazar is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Business Development to support revenue growth, expand shop-in-shop partnerships, enhance merchandising income, and strengthen corporate business initiatives. The position requires strong coordination skills, analytical ability, and effective stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new revenue opportunities through Merchandising, Shop-in Shop (SIS), Activations, and Visibility Income.
Develop and negotiate business deals to expand the company’s revenue portfolio.
Prepare monthly revenue reports and track the performance of existing and new businesses.
Ensure timely collection of rent, utility bills, and outstanding dues from partners/vendors.
Manage daily communication with FMCG brands, franchise partners, SIS operators, and activation agencies.
Conduct quarterly Joint Business Plan (JBP) reviews with partners to align commitments.
Resolve operational complaints, space allocation issues, and vendor escalations in coordination with Operations.
Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
Provide insights to support negotiations, pricing decisions, and visibility planning.
Assist management with data-driven reports and dashboards.
Lead store-level campaign execution, including activations, sampling, and POSM implementation.
Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and SCM to ensure effective execution across outlets.
Monitor in-store visibility standards and ensure partner compliance.
Prepare monthly merchandising income, SIS income, and activation income reports.
Maintain proper documentation of agreements, billing schedules, and revenue trackers.
Share periodic performance updates with senior management.
