The job holder is primarily responsible for managing and monitoring the Regional/ Zonal/ Area Managers and Outlet Teams. The job requires usual visiting retail stores. He/she works closely with the Departmental FPRs in order to ensure smooth operations at the outlet and head office.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement retail strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction targets.
Collaborate with marketing, category, supply chain and inter functional teams to align store activities with wider business goals.
Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to adjust retail plans accordingly.
Oversee store expansion, refurbishment, and location strategy.
Operational Management:
Ensure all Agora stores adhere to operational policies, SOPs, and brand guidelines.
Monitor and improve in-store processes including merchandising, inventory, POS systems, and hygiene standards.
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention processes.
Drive consistent store performance through audits, feedback, and KPIs of team management.
Regular site visit to find the gap of operational excellence to take appropriate actions.
Sales & Profit Management:
Drive top and bottom aggressively and monitor business trends and implement corrective actions for underperforming stores.
Collaborate with the marketing and commercial teams to optimize promotional effectiveness.
Assortment opportunities and partners with necessary department, field and support centre resources to rectify and solve issues.
Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities in stores.
Customer Service & Experience:
Ensure exceptional customer service delivery across all branches.
Address escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
Drive initiatives to improve the in-store customer experience.
Financial Performance:
Manage P&L for the retail business; drive sales and control costs.
Optimize inventory levels, reduce wastage, and improve margin contribution.
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and train regional managers, store managers, sub functional in-charges.
Establish performance targets and conduct regular reviews to drive reward, develop or appropriate actions.
Foster a customer-first and team-oriented culture.
Supply Chain & Inventory Oversight:
Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure product availability and reduce stock outs.
Manage shrinkage, wastage, and expiry rates across the retail network.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all outlets comply with food safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
Lead crisis management initiatives during disruptions (e.g. strikes, weather, and supply issues).
