Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Head of Ready Mix Plant at Mir Concrete Products Ltd. is responsible for the overall management and operations of the ready-mix concrete production facility. Here are the key job rules and responsibilities associated with this position:
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Operational Oversight:
∎ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the ready mix concrete plant.
∎ Ensure timely and efficient production of high-quality concrete as per customer requirements.
∎ Optimize plant processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
∎ 2. Quality Assurance:
∎ Maintain strict quality control standards for all produced concrete.
∎ Conduct regular testing and inspection to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
∎ 3.Team Leadership & Staff Management:
∎ Supervise plant staff, including plant operators, drivers, and maintenance personnel.
∎ Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members
∎ Foster a safe, productive, and disciplined work environment.
∎ 4.Maintenance & Safety Compliance:
∎ Schedule and oversee routine maintenance of equipment and machinery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct safety training sessions.
∎ 5.Supply Chain & Material Management:
∎ Coordinate raw material procurement, storage, and inventory management. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
∎ 6. Cost Control & Budget Management:
∎ Monitor operational costs and implement measures for cost optimization. Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
∎ 7. Health and Safety Compliance :
∎ Promote and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
∎ Conduct regular safety training sessions and emergency drills.
∎ 8. Customer Service & Coordination:
∎ Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to product quality or delivery.
∎ Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for effective order fulfillment.
∎ 9.Environmental & Regulatory Compliance:
∎ Ensure operations adhere to environmental policies and legal requirements. Maintain necessary documentation and permits related to environmental standards.
∎ 10.Reporting & Documentation:
∎ Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, safety incidents, and compliance activities.
∎ Prepare regular reports for senior management on plant performance, issues, and improvement plans.
