Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) form Shahjalal University of Science & Technology with very good academic track records.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring production output and finding Bottlenecks, Technical, Quality, Machine problems and having it solved immediately.
∎ Responsible for formulating an effective monthly order production plan, and efficiently coordinate with the marketing and production teams.
∎ Responsible for optimizing production capacity planning, reducing costs and improving profitability.
∎ Review the production plan to ensure timely shipment, coordinate production with the production team, and efficiently plan the production.
∎ Develop conceptual design, demonstration, approval and implementation of strategic production plans and optimization of productivity.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvement to improve quality and study ways to reduce costs.
∎ Evaluate and recommend technologies, methods, processes and training to relevant teams.
∎ Calculate non-production time, reduce defects and waste.
∎ Find bottlenecks, technical difficulties and quality related issues.
∎ Analyze workforce distribution, facility layout, and operational data to determine the effective use of resources (employees and equipment), and recommend ways to improve workforce efficiency and reduce waste.
∎ Design a control system to coordinate activities and production plans to ensure that products meet quality standards.
∎ Implement innovations to reduce costs and increase productivity.
∎ Responsible for leading the team to review samples and convene a pre-production meeting to ensure that once production starts.
∎ Adjust and change the work flow plan according to the established manufacturing sequence and lead time to speed up production operations.
∎ Adopt good industrial engineering practices in every possible field of operation to increase productivity and ensure resource optimization.
∎ Analyze low production and collect lost time data for low production and repair it.
∎ Monitor section wise production report on hourly basis output and study individual operator performance and train them through coordination with section heads and supervisors for improving worker efficiency and quality.
∎ Prepare monthly production and efficiency report, machine breakdown report etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Highly proficient and up to date with computer applications and online tools e.g. latest Microsoft suite products.
∎ Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
∎ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English written and verbal), good team player with leadership quality.
∎ Knowledge on global trend of tableware/ceramic industry will be seen as an added advantage.
